Tuesday 19 September

for Peace day, Read poem Plato told him and account for:

- Plato

- Lao Tze

- General (William Tecumseh) Sherman

- "nipponized bit of the old sixth avenue el"

- What did these people try to tell him? Was it one message or many? Best clue: "General Sherman"

In answer to a question I received, the poem's odd typography is part of the poem and typical of the poet's "cubist" style.
